Are you addicted to partying? Time for a reality check.

This sexy song and video does a great job to desexify party addiction.
What is the difference between being a partier and having a drug and alcohol addiction?
Addiction is a mental illness.
If you are drinking to suppress emotions or distract yourself from having to face your fears head on, then it’s time to take a party break. We may feel good while the party lasts, but dealing with our shit has a lasting “high” that no drug can ever remedy.
I happen to know a few people (men and women) who maintain a hardcore party life, claiming that "it’s innocent fun". As a bystander, we can feel pretty helpless when someone is obviously hiding something from themselves. We may not be in a position to call them out on that particular issue, but we're certain that we are not the only ones who can recognize what is happening either.
Intervention doesn’t always help, because we have to WANT to change.
If you're an avid partier, take a moment to look deep inside and ask yourself if maybe you’re living a lie. Living the truth feels mindblowingly good, so why not strive to achieve that satisfaction?
Test your tolerance and practice "actual" abstinence (longer than a few days or weeks). Success doesn’t happen overnight, and those who are living the happiest version of themselves worked damn hard to get there.
Addiction is an obstacle, one we can and will overcome!
