As a conscious community, we have increasing awareness of the power and effects of music therapy on our body and mind. Different beats, tunes, and melodies effect us all a little differently, however, it only takes one song that we really resonate with to move us one step closer in the direction of our dreams.
Effects on our brainwaves show that a strong beat can stimulate sharper concentration and alert decision making, or a slower tempo can promote a calm meditative state.
Breathing and heart rate can be significantly altered with music, which, in turn, ripples throughout our bodily functions improving health and increasing energy levels.
Our state of mind, can also be positively effected, helping to keep depression and anxiety at bay while helping to keep creativity and optimism levels higher.
