These are not brain particles, they're actually two lung cancer cells breaking apart. Let me backtrack a few PBS articles... I came across an article titled Sneaking into the Brain with Nanoparticles. As I read through, I started to learn about the research done with nanoparticles keeping lab neurons alive in a dish.
What started out as a very skeptical lab experiment has resulted in huge scientific discoveries. Neuroscientists are now taking advantage of nanoparticles’ unique properties to identify new therapies. This experiment has introduced new opportunities to examine the brain on a level and depth never before possible.
These crazy little nanoparticles are especially talented at searching out and destroying cancer cells in the bloodstream. Research is looking very promising, little dudes.
When three separate, extremely successful professionals in my life, told me in the same week, to go out and pick up a copy of The War of Art, I was sold. After zipping through Pressfield's theory on "Resistance", I immediately made some big changes in how I was (or was not) working towards my vision.
The following week I was visiting with a friend of mine, chatting about how much we both connected with what Pressfield was on about, including his no bullsh*t delivery. She departed from the room, returning with a brand new copy of Turning Pro. She told me that she was saving an extra copy at home, as the perfect gift to give a special someone, who she felt was ready for it.
"The passage from amateur to professional is often achieved via an interior odyssey whose trials are survived only at great cost, emotionally, psychologically and spiritually. We pass through a membrane when we turn pro. It’s messy and it’s scary. We tread in blood when we turn pro." Stephen Pressfield, Turning Pro
